FUN AND INTUITIVE TOUCHSCREEN
With crystal clear graphics, the capacitive colour touchscreen houses several key technological features of the PEUGEOT 208. Capacitive technology helps to give Smartphone levels of responsiveness whilst multi-touch technology brings greater levels of functionality. In keeping with the PEUGEOT 3D i-Cockpit® theme, the touchscreen is angled towards the driver and features easy access buttons on each side as well as stylish 'piano' key toggle switches on the centre console to use the wealth of functionality available: Climate control; DAB Radio (Digital Audio Broadcasting); Mirror Screen®: (Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto functionality); Connected 3D Navigation* including TomTom® Live updates; and a 10" HD touchscreen* giving you a wider panoramic view and integrating the climate controls on each side. A second row of 'piano' key toggle switches also features in the centre console to make sure you can access all functionality as quickly as possible.

A CONNECTED CAR IN A CONNECTED WORLD
Through the use of inductive charging technology* a compatible device can be charged wirelessly whilst on the move. Operation is simple: just place your smartphone on the charging area and once detected, battery charging begins. There’s also up to four USB** sockets in the car for portable devices - making sure everyone stays connected and fully charged on every journey.

The PEUGEOT 208 benefits from the new modular and multi-energy CMP / eCMP platform, giving you the freedom to choose between a PureTech petrol, BlueHDi diesel or full electric engine, without having to compromise on space, technology, looks or driving sensations. Experience a euphoric driving experience through exemplary road-holding; optimised interior space and boot capacity; outstanding manoeuvrability; and futuristic ambience and internal comfort.
Thanks to the efficiency of its PureTech petrol or BlueHDi diesel engines, and the 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox, every PEUGEOT 208 offers a combination of power with controlled CO2 emissions, together with Stop & Start functionality.
For optimum driving pleasure our 8-speed automatic gearbox* offers : Up to 5% reduction in fuel consumption as a result of optimised gearing; seamless changes for conquering the open road; optimised safety as the gearbox automatically reverts to ‘P’ (park) when the ignition is switched off; reduced weight through carefully selected materials offering a weight saving of 6kg versus EAT6; and electric impulse control with Quickshift technology. Transmission can also be controlled via the steering column mounted paddles.

When you take your seat in the PEUGEOT e-208 you’re immersed in a stimulating electric driving experience. Its immediate reactivity (136hp and torque of 260 Nm available from 0mph) with 0-60 achieved in 8.1 seconds, is complemented with the three driving modes : Sport, Normal and Eco. And, with a range of 217 miles (349 km,) you’re guaranteed a serene drive on every journey. And, for those longer trips, you can undertake a rapid recharge from a dedicated public terminal with 80% charged in 30 minutes^, whilst full recharge from a Wall Box takes around 8 hours.
^The vehicle will rapid charge at a rate of up to 100kW, depending on the power of the rapid charging station used and will take longer to charge at a lower power. Rapid charging stations are available across the UK at various locations and their power rating varies, typically from 50kW and sometimes up to 350kW. ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE
Standard across 208, this intelligent autonomous braking system is designed to avoid a collision or limit its severity by reducing the vehicle's speed. The system is triggered if the driver does not react quickly enough, by activating the vehicle's brakes. Using a bumper mounted radar and multifunction camera located at the top of the windscreen able to detect obstructions on the road. The system works in the following ways, both day and night:
FULL PARK ASSIST
Full Park Assist: In addition to Visio Park 1, this pack includes fully automated parking assistance, taking care of steering, acceleration and gearbox functions for parallel and bay parking scenarios.

LANE KEEPING TECHNOLOGIES
Via a windscreen mounted camera PEUGEOT 208 offers the following lane keeping technologies : Active Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA) + Road Edge Detection: (standard on all versions) a system that monitors longitudinal lane markings on the ground. If a deviation is detected across a lane marking, you are alerted by a flashing indicator on the digital instrument panel in the cabin. In addition as soon as the system identifies a risk of accidentally crossing one of the marking lines detected on the ground, the steering is gradually corrected to keep the vehicle in lane, at speeds of over 40mph. For further peace of mind, road edge detection is also included to reduce the likelihood of the vehicle leaving the road in an accident. Lane Positioning Assist: (standard on GT) linked to Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go function. This intelligent system positions the car centrally with the middle of a lane, applying left and right trajectory corrections accordingly.

ACTIVE BLIND SPOT DETECTION
A CONNECTED CAR IN A CONNECTED WORLD
Linked to the 10” capacitive colour touchscreen*, the 3D connected navigation* shows you the way with its integrated TomTom® Traffic service and provides real time information about traffic and risk areas. The Mirror Screen® feature allows you to use the touchscreen to access your favourite apps from a compatible Smartphone, and offers Apple CarPlay™, or Android Auto connectivity.
